    Sprinkler Repair in Miami

Sprinkler repair is the bread and butter of what we do at Freedom Flow Irrigation. Most repair calls in Miami-Dade and Broward come down to a handful of repeating problems: broken pop-up heads sheared off by a lawnmower, zones that won't activate because of a failed solenoid, low pressure caused by a clogged filter, or wet spots that signal a hidden lateral-line leak.

What separates a good repair from a bad one is diagnosis. Replacing a broken head doesn't help if the underlying issue is a cracked manifold or wiring fault upstream. Our technicians walk every zone, listen, watch the controller, check pressure, and document what they find before quoting any work.

Most residential repairs are completed in a single visit. We carry Rain Bird, Hunter, Toro, Orbit, and Irritrol parts on the truck — heads, nozzles, solenoids, valves, fittings, and common controller boards — so you don't pay for a second trip.

    What's Included

    • Broken pop-up & rotary head replacement
    • Zone diagnostics — wiring, valve, controller faults
    • Stuck-on / stuck-off zone repair
    • Nozzle matching & arc adjustment for even coverage
    • Riser, swing-pipe & fitting replacement
    • Pressure & coverage audits

    Common Problems We Solve

Sound familiar? Here's what we usually find — and how we fix it.

A whole zone won't turn on

Almost always a wiring fault, failed solenoid, or stuck valve. We meter the wire run from controller to valve, isolate the problem, and replace the failed component.

    One head shoots a geyser

The riser is broken below ground or the head body has cracked. We dig down, replace the riser or fitting, and reset the new head at the right height.

Half the lawn is brown despite running

Usually wrong nozzle sizing, mis-aimed heads, or low pressure on that zone. We re-nozzle and adjust arcs so coverage is even instead of patchy.

Heads pop up but barely spray

Pressure issue — could be a partially closed gate valve, clogged filter, leak in the lateral, or undersized supply. We isolate where the pressure drops and fix it at the source.

    Our Process

Same approach on every job — diagnosis first, then fix.

    1

    Walk every zone

We run each zone from the controller and watch it work — heads, pressure, coverage, valve sound, controller response. No guessing.

    2

    Diagnose the root cause

Whether it's wiring, hydraulics, or the head itself, we identify the actual failure point before quoting parts and labor.

    3

    Quote in writing

You see the price before any work starts. No surprise fees, no upsells.

    4

    Repair & verify

We make the repair, run the affected zones again, and confirm proper operation. Labor is backed by our 1-year warranty.

    Frequently Asked Questions

About sprinkler repair in Miami-Dade & Broward.

How much does a typical sprinkler repair cost?

Most single-head replacements run $65–$120 including the part. Solenoid valve replacement is $85–$175. A full diagnostic for a non-working zone is $95–$200 depending on the cause. We give you a written quote before any work starts.

How long does a sprinkler repair take?

Most residential repairs take 1–3 hours and finish in one visit. Larger jobs — multi-zone wiring faults, mainline breaks — may take longer, but we tell you upfront before scheduling.

Do you charge a service call fee?

No. We give you a free written estimate. You only pay if you approve the work.

What brands of sprinkler systems do you repair?

All of the major brands — Rain Bird, Hunter, Toro, Orbit, Irritrol, Rachio, K-Rain, and others. Our trucks are stocked with parts for the systems most common across Miami-Dade and Broward.

    Is your repair work warrantied?

Yes. All labor carries a 1-year warranty. If the repair fails within a year due to our workmanship, we return and fix it at no charge.
